This photograph was taken on slide film, and scanned to a digital image. These beautiful birds were photographed at the Stirling Ranges in Western Australia.
Hello all, and thankyou for visiting my little area on the wide world web. I have lived in the south west corner of Australia all my life. My love of photography started over 30 years ago. I gave up smoking cigarettes, and started photographing. Did not save any money, but now live a lot healthier life style. I love nothing more than to get about, and to photograph the wonderful world we live in. I try to capture things as they really are. I do very little editing in photoshop. A lot of my older photographs were taken on film, and then scanned to a digital image. Now days, the only time I use film is photographing thunder storms. I love to photograph all things, but my favorite has to be getting out in thunder storms and capturing...

WOW, what a great shot! I saw this in the Camouflage Contest, and had to vote for it there, and here. I'm glad I saw it in the contest, had I not known this was a Camo Contest, I'm not sure I would have seen these wonderful birds in it.. Great work.. FV
