This is a photograph of the sun setting behind Mount Trio. You get the vivid colours in the sky created by the sun setting with a mixture of cloud and smoke haze from the near by controlled burn. Mount Trio is part of the Stirling Ranges, in Western Australia

Hello all, and thankyou for visiting my little area on the wide world web. I have lived in the south west corner of Australia all my life. My love of photography started over 30 years ago. I gave up smoking cigarettes, and started photographing. Did not save any money, but now live a lot healthier life style. I love nothing more than to get about, and to photograph the wonderful world we live in. I try to capture things as they really are. I do very little editing in photoshop. A lot of my older photographs were taken on film, and then scanned to a digital image. Now days, the only time I use film is photographing thunder storms.
