This colour photograph was taken at the gold fields locality of Lake Ballard, in Western Australia. You have the magnificent Milky Way in the back ground and a dead tree in the fore ground. The tree was lit up by the glow of my camp fire.

Hello all, and thankyou for visiting my little area on the wide world web. I have lived in the south west corner of Australia all my life. My love of photography started over 30 years ago. I gave up smoking cigarettes, and started photographing. Did not save any money, but now live a lot healthier life style. I love nothing more than to get about, and to photograph the wonderful world we live in. I try to capture things as they really are. I do very little editing in photoshop. A lot of my older photographs were taken on film, and then scanned to a digital image. Now days, the only time I use film is photographing thunder storms.
